OUR WORK PROCESS

What We Are Proud Of

01
Consultation

Let’s get started with a meeting! The first step involves an on-site consultation, which is offered free of charge. This consultation will help us determine the direction you envision for your project. Are we looking at a complete overhaul or simple updates like painting and new countertops? Identifying the scope of work is our primary objective at this stage.

02
Design

Does your bathroom need to be re-arranged in a more functional way? Maybe you want to tear out an old bathtub and put a beautiful walk-in shower in its place? Is your vanity too small or too big?

A new design can help with that and create a more functional space for you and your family. It helps to have a different view of your space and “see what could be”.

This will also help you to make decisions on what you need and what you want, and whether you will require a contractor, or you are strictly doing a cosmetic refresh, like new countertops only.

If you require a full bath remodel design, typically a small design deposit will be requested, and will be applied toward the design fee, should you decide to move forward with your remodel. The client and contractor will receive all drawings, renderings and elevations.

03
Materials

How much you spend on your remodel will be determined by your finishes and scope of work. Selection of cabinetry styles/ wood finishes, tile selection, hardware, and shower fixtures, as well as whether you are using glass walls and doors in the shower area, lighting, mirrors, and accessories like towel rods, will all affect the price.

This is actually a very important step to determine the actual cost of your remodel, and it is often skipped over, just to get “a price”.

In order for a contractor to come up with an actual price, they need 2 things: a design to work with, and the materials being used. Both things determine the price for labor.

It is in your best interest to have the quote be as close as possible to avoid surprises or additional fees. The contractor will typically want to come and investigate and view the project as well, to ensure the correct pricing, so an appointment with him will need to be made. Your designer will contact him and they will call you to set up an appointment.

04
Meet with the Designer

After completing the design and selecting materials, you will have another meeting with the designer in their chosen showroom. During this meeting, they will present the pricing for materials, cabinets, etc., and you will review the design together. This is the stage where any required adjustments will be identified and agreed upon. Following this, the final design and materials quote will be sent to you via email.

05
Time to Get to Work

The contractor will email you his price, and now that you have the materials pricing as well, you can make the determination whether to move forward with the job.

Contractors will have their own schedule for payments, and as for the materials quote, half down will be required to order all products.

After payment is made, scheduling and demo dates will be determined.
